Autism Family Services, LLC Wednesday Workshop Series

Autism Family Services, LLC is pleased to announce its Winter Wednesday Workshop Series! These workshops are designed to give parent, teachers, providers and members of the community insights, methods and strategies to help remediate key areas of difficulty in ASD children and teens. Workshops are facilitated by Laura B. DeAngelo, A.B., M.B.A., RDI® Program Certified Consultant.

Workshops do not take the place of an RDI® program but incorporate concepts and teaching strategies used in RDI® programs. Workshops will be interactive and will include handouts. If time permits, individual family issues pertaining to the theme will be addressed.

All workshops are from 7-9 p.m. at Autism Family Services, LLC. Cost is $50 per workshop per family (couples welcome). Attend all six and the sixth is free!

2/3/10 - Workshop #4: “Addressing problem behaviors using the principles of remediation”

2/10/10 - Workshop #5: “The emotional self – How to help your child develop emotional regulation and empathy”

2/24/10 - Workshop #6: “Family lifestyle and school environments: How to rethink and restructure yours to focus on autism remediation”
